Cascade Blonde American Whiskey

When we began our first social project for Cascade, we were tasked with proving to the client that we could strengthen the presence on social and do better than their current social agency. We could make it look nicer, we could nail the tone, and we could increase awareness of the brand as well as interactions on posts.

For the first month of content (which was all the responsibility given to us at that point), we combed through existing assets, finding the best and making them better. We took a deep dive into what the client was looking for regarding the tone of voice, and wrote lines accordingly.

We crushed it and became Cascade’s social agency.

From there, we continued creating content and began working to develop official social guidelines for the brand. What Cascade social should and shouldn’t be, say, and do.

Later, I also played a role in defining the brand’s voice even beyond social, contributing to the official Brand Book.

We had a great strategist, social expert, project manager, and producer who all worked their tails off to wholly understand the brand’s direction and make things happen. And it helps when the brand is as cool as Cascade Blonde. I mean, a product with a bottle stopper that doubles as a bobber is bound to be good.

It’s no wonder Cascade Blonde is America’s favorite day sippin’ whiskey.

We’re not your granddad’s whiskey.

Hell, we’re not even your daddy’s. We’re a new generation of whiskey that’s light, laid back and best paired with sunshine and open water. So slap on some SPF and sip on that ABV. America’s favorite day sippin’ whiskey is here.

We’re funny because we don’t try too hard, likeable because we’re real, easy to talk to because we’re easy going. Nothing energizes us more than being around the open water with friends who can throw shade just as easily as they can hammock beneath it. When we host lake parties, everyone’s invited. Even your granddad.

We’re proud, but never preachy; confident, never cocky. Our earnest appreciation for the great outdoors comes across in the way we talk about our lakes and rivers. That’s because we take our waterways seriously. Ourselves? Not so much.

If “camaraderie” wasn’t such a mouthful, that’s how we’d describe ourselves. Instead we prefer to keep it simple:

We’re all friends out here.

Refreshingly Real

We embrace quirks. Because without them, life would be bland. Who needs the same ol’, same ol’? Not us. We want to hear your favorite joke and know your worst idea. And we’ll tell you ours, so we can laugh at them together. We’ll lay it all out, the best and the cringiest. Because it’s what makes us, us. You’re the only you, and you’re the best you. And we’ll sip to that.

Good-humored

We’re good sports, and we’re always game for whatever our friends suggest. We go with the flow (especially when the whiskey’s flowin’) and always make the most of the situations we find ourselves in. We don’t mind sitting back and watching, but if you need a volunteer for your show, we’ll raise our hand. We’re willing to look a little goofy if it means others are smiling and having a good time. But we’ll drag you along with us, because the only thing that might be better than making fun of ourselves is making fun of our friends.

Unexclusively Welcoming

There are people who are friendly and there are people who are your friends. We’re the latter. We let you know you’ll always have a place around our fire and at our lake. We show up when you need a support crew, even before you call us. But we’ll also tease you and tell you your superstitious fishing stance looks ridiculous. If you fall, we’ll laugh as we help you up. When we’re at the party, you know it’ll be a good time. Because anytime you have a day you’ll never forget, we were right there with ya.
